Story time: We decided to adopt our first rescue d

Story time:
We decided to adopt our first rescue dog. We met her on a Saturday morning and by Saturday evening she was ours. Here’s how the next week transpired:
Sunday: Remi is the perfect little dog. Housebroken and crate trained. Sweetest little girl.
Monday: Some diarrhea in her cage. Poor thing. And she has to wear a cone because she was recently spayed. She also can’t have a bath yet.
Tuesday: Go to the vet and get some meds to put in her food. She eats her food that night with her meds.
Wednesday: Stop eating and drinking. More diarrhea.
Thursday: Back to the vet, she’s seriously sick. I need to check her into a hospital for dogs. We just met her. I take my sick little dog there and she’s in doggy ICU.
Friday: Stable condition. We don’t see her.
Saturday: They call… she’s all better. We can take her home. I’m seriously afraid she won’t know who we are… but she is so excited to see us again.
Sunday: She’s back to being the best little pup in the whole wide world!
